In dem Semesterprojekt „FLAT PACK“ wurde der aktuelle Arbeitsplatz in Bezug auf
Ergonomie und allgemeine Arbeitssituation genauer analysiert.
Das Arbeitsumfeld, die temporären und räumlichen Veränderungen wurden untersucht und
dokumentiert, um daraus Erkenntnisse für eine Verbesserung der aktuellen Arbeitssituation
zu gewinnen.
Gestaltet wurde ein „Object for work“ für eine definierte Problemstellung, die die Bereiche der
Ergonomie, Montage und internationalen Versand wesentlich verbessern und dem Nutzer in
seinem Arbeitsumfeld zu mehr Komfort, Ruhe und Sicherheit verhelfen.
Smart home devices can help the elderly regain their independence despite mobility impairments. The problem with many smart home solutions is that users have to use a mobile phone to control their home. Using different apps to control different devices is not convenient for older users.
The aim of the project was to develop a convenient system for controlling smart home devices.
Remota is an adaptable, senior-friendly smart home interface equipped with pop-up buttons that appear on the screen where needed. Users can feel the buttons under their fingers, allowing for more natural and faster control over the smart home system because touch is up to five times faster than vision.
Remota allows elderly users to quickly control many different devices without walking around the house, providing safety, comfort, and independence to elderly people.
