Origamicahedron

For my model I got inspiration from an origami design in this interesting shape, and I had an idea of putting multiple of these pieces together to form a dodecahedron.

I created a prototype by putting the pieces on top of each other and it created an inverted 3D pentagon.

Then I thought of a way to put the model together without using glue which was by folding in a second origami piece on top of the main piece. It then created a space to slide in another piece in and it worked well at the end as this made the model sturdier.

In the end I had to make 20 of these origami pieces to create a full dodecahedron.
