Semantische Wirkung einer Tischleuchte
Zu gestalten ist eine Tischleuchte auf Basis eines ausgewählten Adjektivs unter Berücksichtigung der semantischen Wirkung auf den Betrachtenden.
Durch diese Aufgabe entwickeln die Studierenden ein tief greifendes Verständnis für die semantische Wirkung von Form-, Farb- und Materialkombinationen. Dazu wählen sie ein Adjektiv, z. B. “elegant”, “leicht” oder “sportlich” aus einem vorgegebenen Wort-Pool, analysieren dessen Bedeutung mithilfe von Mindmaps, diskutieren die Ergebnisse und vertiefen ihre Erkenntnisse durch Moodboards.
Auf Grundlage dieser Analyse entwerfen die Studierenden eine Tischleuchte, die das gewählte Adjektiv durch ihre Formsprache, Farbgebung und Materialität klar vermittelt. Die begleitende Dokumentation des Entwurfsprozesses dient als zusätzliche Übung zur Reflexion und Nachvollziehbarkeit der gestalterischen Entscheidungen.
The term “organic” stems from the natural world, symbolizing forms and structures that are inherently connected to life and growth . Organic design is characterized by its fluidity, softness, and harmonious relationship with nature.
The organic concept is embodied through the form of a table lamp inspired by natural cocoons. Cocoons represent protection, transformation, and delicate craftsmanship shaped by nature itself.
Their intricate, layered structures and the interplay of light and shadow within them serve as the perfect metaphor for an organic approach to design.
To enhance the organic essence, we used wood to represent the natural texture of tree branches, creating a harmonious balance between transparency and warmth.
