In this class we focus on learning programming as a tool to create, prototype and visualize.
This semester the final projects are memories.
In this class we cover basic programming elements such as variables, loops, conditions and classic algorithms. As well we cover complexity, prioritization and framing which is especially important in a creative and innovative context.
The design of the game was completely left to us.
I chose the theme of Japan because I have a big interest in the country and its culture.
I kept the design simple with only a few red accents and gave the back of the cards a Japanese pattern. The individual card symbols represent objects or people from Japan.
My biggest goal was to make my game playable in multiplayer, so that you can play against each other. It was also important to me that there is also a highscore so that you have an additional challenge while playing.
For the multiplayer mode there is an own Highscore which is limited to 10 players and is sorted by the score, and the single player mode is also limited to 10 players, but this time it is sorted by the time.
