Projektthema
The aim of our interactive project was to create an engaging model of Jupiter, allowing users to explore and find information about the planet through interaction. The design ensures a straightforward process where multiple users can simultaneously interact with the model. This enables them to gather information about Jupiter’s interior and its moons efficiently.
Concept
We wanted to display different information on two separate screens. The information will be controlled by a central controller, each with a main function and a button.
Screen A: Rotation
Screen A controls the rotation of moons with adjustable speed. It features a rotation animation and allows navigation through different moons like Europa and Ganymede. The sizes and distances of the moons are accurately represented to provide a realistic depiction. This function is particularly useful for visualizing the dynamic movements of the moons and their relationships to each other.
Screen B: Explosion
Screen B manages the explosion mechanism, showing the various layers of a planet, such as the core, liquid layers, clouds, and outer atmosphere. These layers are illustrated with an opening and closing animation. This function provides a deep understanding of planetary structures and their composition by illustrating the internal dynamics and complex processes within a planet.
Controller and Buttons
The central controller manages both screens and has two buttons – Button A for Screen A and Button B for Screen B. These buttons allow easy switching between the content pages of the two screens. With Button A, users can control the moon rotation and navigate through different moons, while Button B activates the explosion mechanism and visualizes the planetary layers.
This clear separation of functions and the straightforward control via buttons enable a user-friendly and intuitive interaction. Users can seamlessly switch between the screens and experience the respective information in an understandable and engaging manner.
In conclusion, we created a dual-screen display with a central controller. Screen A shows moon rotations, allowing navigation through moons like Europa and Ganymede. Screen B illustrates planetary layers with detailed animations. The controller’s intuitive buttons enable seamless switching between these visualizations, making the interaction both engaging and educational.
